yiping, you symbol looks like a character design (for a cartoon series, etc), and not symbol. Kindly refer to some reference on FOOD Logo, and perhaps you can get better idea. Anyway, you can still maintain the idea of sushi kind of food, and illustrate it as logo (simplified illustration or a represention)
